Dorcas Design provides custom handmade quilt collections in a creative unique Oriental design.  The online quilt collection store was established in March 2006 by a group of skilled disabled women in South China who have overcome stigma and poverty. The workshop is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. Twelve women and one man come from three provinces. The company seeks to be self supporting. Profit is used to train and offer employment to more women. Four new women have been trained in 2007, two of which are orphans and two with mobility impairment due to polio.

They have been trained in sewing skills and have designed and produced beautifully handmade oriental design products that are available on this website for purchase.
